Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the attitudes of the first-cycle teachers of the importance of using the electronic achievement file in the calendar. The importance of the research comes from the role occupied by modern evaluation tools in education. The electronic achievement file is one of the important tools in evaluating both the teacher and the student. The sample consisted of (173) male and female teachers. To achieve the aim of the research, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and designed a trend questionnaire. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance of 0.05 between the arithmetic means of the degree of attitudes to the importance of using the electronic achievement file in the evaluation due to the gender variable, and that the teachers' attitudes towards the use of electronic achievement files in the evaluation were weak, in light of the results of the study. A number of suggestions can be made:1- The need to start holding training courses for new and old teachers at all stages to familiarize them with the electronic achievement file and how to use it and apply it well in the evaluation.2- Working to provide the necessary requirements in the educational environment to activate the teachers' use of the electronic achievement file in evaluating students, especially modern computers and related computer programs, electricity..
