The Reality of Balanced Performance of Secondary School Principals in Diyala Governorate from the Perspective of Physical Education Teachers

Abstract

The objectives of the research are to identify the balanced performance of school principals from the point of view of physical education teachers in Diyala Governorate, so that the impact of practicing this practice in developing the level of physical education teacher and showing his performance. The problem of the research indicates the existence of shortcomings in some practices of some school principals, represented by the focus on routine administrative aspects. Therefore, the researcher conducted his study on a sample of physical education teachers in Diyala Governorate. The researcher used the descriptive approach with the survey method, to suit the nature of the study. The researcher used the balanced performance scale consisting of (20) phrases. The researcher conducted his exploratory experiment on a sample of (21) teachers, who were chosen randomly. After that, the main study was conducted on a sample of (197) teachers, who were also chosen randomly. The most important conclusions are that balanced performance is an essential element in terms of dimensions and axes, and its great impact on the school’s administrative process cannot be ignored. If any aspect of it is neglected, this will hinder the achievement of the expected results. The results of the study also showed the presence of some positive points, which is evident in the directive leadership and the ability to strategic planning. The most important recommendations are to work on strengthening and developing the internal environment for the level of balanced performance of school principals, and for the purpose of achieving the study’s objectives, and after collecting data from the sample of the testers, statistical analysis was conducted using statistical methods and the statistical package SPSS
