The effectiveness of the Murder strategy on the accuracy of jumping handball shots for middle school students

Abstract

    The study aimed to use the Murder strategy in the accuracy of the handball jumping shooting skill and to identify its effect for second-year intermediate students. The researchers assumed that there is an effectiveness for the Murder strategy in the accuracy of the handball jumping shooting skill for the students, and there are statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group. The researchers used The experimental approach was based on the equivalent group method. The researchers identified the population as second-grade students from the Iraqi Middle School, one of the schools of the Diyala Education Directorate, for the academic year (2023-2024), who numbered (124) students. The researchers chose the sample randomly from the students of Division (A), who numbered (42) students. Their percentage was (33.87%), and they were divided into an experimental group and a control group, represented by (18) students for each group and (4) students for the exploratory experiment. The researchers concluded that using the Murder strategy is effective in students learning the accuracy of the skill of shooting by jumping with a handball. For students, the researchers came up with a number of recommendations, including the necessity of using modern strategies in the physical education lesson for the intermediate stage .and moving away from the traditional methods followed
