The effect of the self-regulated method on learning the skill of chest handling in basketball for fifth-grade primary school students

Abstract

       The study aimed to prepare teaching plans according to the self-organized method to learn the skill of thoracic handling and to identify its effect on fifth-grade students. The researchers assumed that there is an effect of the teaching plans that were prepared according to the self-organized method in learning the thoracic handling skill, and there is a difference in arithmetic circles in favor of The experimental group. The researchers used an experimental approach in the style of two equal groups. The research population was determined at Al-Amin Primary School for Boys, and their number reached (236) students. The research sample was deliberately chosen, represented by fifth-grade primary school students, who numbered (42) students and their percentage was (17.79%). The students were divided into an experimental and a control group, consisting of (18) students for each group and (6) students for the exploratory experiment. After conducting the main experiment, it was concluded that using the organized teaching method had a direct impact on the students’ learning of the chest handling skill. A number of recommendations were made, including: The necessity of using modern methods in teaching physical education.
