The Role of Teaching Using Artificial Intelligence in Raising the Quality of Teaching Physical Education in Basic Education Schools

Abstract

  The aim of the current research is to identify the role of teaching using artificial intelligence in raising the quality of physical education in basic education schools from the point of view of a sample of teachers in the first cycle of basic education schools in Damascus and Daraa. The researcher used a descriptive research approach that studies the reality. It analyzes the phenomenon that is the subject of the study by collecting information and data by preparing a questionnaire to determine the importance of the role of teaching using artificial intelligence (AI) in raising the quality of physical education in basic education schools from the point of view of a sample of teachers. The evaluation questionnaire consisted of (15) items. To measure this role, a sample of teachers numbering (72) was used. The results of the research demonstrated the importance of using artificial intelligence in developing the content of physical education curricula, teaching methods, enhancing the quality of the educational process for students, increasing their level of creativity, and their achievement levels and evaluating them, in addition to the importance of training classroom teachers specialized in teaching physical education to use artificial intelligence applications. The research recommended the need to hold training courses for teachers, and include artificial intelligence concepts and skills within the programs of colleges of education.
