The Effect of Educational Units Focused on The problematic learning Strategy in Learning Some Basic Boxin Skills

Abstract
Reaching high athletic levels in all sports is linked to the integration and advancement of many physical, mental, skill, tactical, and other requirements, and the game of boxing is one of the games whose players are characterized by many requirements due to the nature of the performance in it, which is characterized by different and fast situations that require boxing players to have the ability to distinguish and move. With the surprises caused by the opponent also exploiting gaps in the opponent’s defense. The physical and motor skill and mental abilities are among the important basic requirements for the boxing player, which enable him to overcome many of the situations that occur during the competition as well as to continue playing with high effectiveness without falling in level throughout. . Hence, the researcher decided to study this problem and develop appropriate solutions for it by applying a problem-centered learning strategy in learning basic boxing skills for students. The researcher used the experimental method (one group with a pre- and post-test) to suit the nature of the research and its objectives. The research community consisted of students from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Diyala for the academic year (2023-2024 AD), who numbered (247) students, and the main sample for the research was (12). Students representing the experimental group were given two familiarization units and a tribal news procedure. The curriculum was applied to the experimental group with 8 educational units for the skills under study.
