Decision-making from the perspective of Scout Movement officials in Basra Governorate Education

Abstract

This research aimed to develop and apply a measure of the quality of decisions made by scouting officials in the Directorate of Education in Basra Governorate. The study adopted a descriptive approach using the survey method and correlational studies. as they were deemed most suitable for the research objectives and the nature of the problem. 

The findings revealed that decision-making significantly influences the level of experience and training among scouting officials. The selected sample consisted of (60) scouting officials from various scout units in Basra’s education sector. 

Among the recommendations, the study suggested conducting further research on larger samples or in other provinces to compare results. Additionally, this research sought to examine leadership styles and their relationship with decision-making processes.
