Abstract

The current study aims to determine the effect of mental guidance strategies on improving focus and attention among the research sample. To achieve this goal, the researcher adopted the experimental method. The research population consisted of third-year morning students at Diyala University/College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for the academic year 2024-2025, totaling (233) students divided into five male sections and one female section. Section (B) for males, with a total of (42) students, was randomly selected. The section was then divided by lot into two groups: a control group and an experimental group, with each group consisting of (20) students. The researcher then prepared a mental educational psychological program based on mental guidance to improve mental performance. The researcher conducted the Borden-Enfimov test. After obtaining the results, the researcher used the statistical program (SPSS). The researcher concluded that the mental guidance strategy was positively effective in developing the focus and attention of the research sample.
