The Effect of Different Feedback Timing on Learning the Skill of High Jump Shooting in Handball

Abstract

By highlighting the importance of varying feedback timing in learning the technical performance and accuracy of the high jump shooting skill in handball, this skill is considered one of the most critical in the game. Through it, a team can score a direct goal, thereby gaining an advantage and increasing the likelihood of winning. Accordingly, the research problem has been formulated as follows: most educators involved in the learning process rely on explanation and demonstration methods for teaching skills without knowing or considering the appropriate timing for receiving sufficient and specific information related to the skill to be learned.
