Abstract

The handball game kept pace with the development and progress in learning and training methods in various aspects, including changes in the teams' playing methods in terms of applying defensive and offensive plans in order to surprise the opponent. Their performance during the game, and this is what poses a big problem, which is the isolation between learning the skills and their performance during the game situations. The study aimed at know-ing the effect of tactical approaches on developing the performance of some basic skills for handball juniors.Knowing the impact of the tactical ap-proaches on developing the motor behavior of young handball players. The researcher used the experimental approach due to its suitability to the nature of the problem, while the research sample included young players aged (16-17) years, whose number was (20) players representing (Diyala) club. The re-searcher prepared forms for evaluating the forms of skills and tests for play situations that included the forms of the studied skills. He conducted the pre-tests, followed by an experimental treatment for the experimental group, which included the implementation of the educational curriculum for the tac-tical approaches for a period of (6) weeks at a rate of (3) units per week, af-ter which the post-tests were conducted and the data was processed statisti-cally.
