The spirit of challenge and its relationship to the trend towards competition among students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Wasit

Abstract

The importance of the current research lies in the importance of the spirit of challenge and orientation towards competition, the relationship between them among the students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Wasit University, and because of their knowledge of the role they have in their correct psychological guidance. Sports, Wasit University, and also knowing the relationship between the spirit of challenge and the tendency towards competition among students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Wasit University.The researcher used the descriptive approach in the two methods of the survey and correlational studies, and the research community was determined by the students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Wasit University, who numbered (80) students. Then the results were presented, analyzed and discussed, and the researcher came to the conclusion that most of the students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Wasit University have a good level of challenge spirit and orientation toward competition, and also concluded that there is a direct relationship between the spirit of challenge and orientation toward competition.
