The effectiveness of a counseling program for reducing aggressive behavior in a physical education lesson among vocational high school students in Diyala Governorate

Abstract

This study aims at the presence of behavioral problems that some students face
during this age group of students, which leads to personal incompatibility and may
lead to aggressive behavior, which is reflected negatively on their behavior The
importance of the current research lies in the importance of the age stage for students and the topic it addresses, which is the effectiveness of a counseling program
for aggressive behavior. Therefore, researchers are interested in studying this important age stage to avoid the effects of some of these problems, which may affect
their future The researchers carried out field research procedures by selecting a
sample of students who had behavioral problems by measuring aggressive behavior on a scale prepared by the researchers, and a measuring tool (the aggressive behavior scale) was built with (26) items After conducting the factorial analysis, a group
of students was selected (experimental group and control group), and the researchers subjected the experimental group to a counseling program, while the control
group was left without being subject to the counseling program, and after applying
the counseling program, aggressive behavior was measured through the scale that
was prepared for this The purpose is to know the results of the current research
