Abstract

Academic freedom is one of the basic conditions for any institution of higher education and one of the most important cornerstones upon which the university is based to fulfill its mission in the most complete manner, because it is a means of developing the educational process and an important necessity for the continuity, growth, development, progress and ability of the university to perform its functions efficiently and effectively. The competencies working in it need a good and correct work environment and provide the appropriate environment for them to be able to express their creative energies. Therefore, it is necessary to raise the level of job satisfaction that contributes to raising their morale and then achieving effectiveness in their performance and creativity. Based on this principle, the current study aimed at the following: : 1- Knowing the level of academic freedom of the faculty members of the study sample. 2- Identifying the level of job satisfaction of the faculty members of the study sample. 3- Recognizing the impact of academic freedom on job satisfaction.
