Abstract

Anxiety is one of the important topics in the sports field that researchers seek to find appropriate solutions to help athletes get rid of this phenomenon, which can be in two different directions, either to help the athlete and push him to achieve achievement or vice versa. As we note that some female students become anxious in the practice of some sports activities and this leads to many physical damages, for example, the performance of some skills on the balance beam, we note the student has a clear hesitation before performing the skills on the balance beam, so this study aimed to know the effect of anxiety on performance Back rolling skill on the balance beam device in artistic gymnastics game for female students. As for the imposition of the research, it included anxiety a negative impact on the performance of the back rolling skill on the balance beam device in the artistic gymnastics for the female students. As for the problem, it was summed up in the presence of a clear hesitation among students of the second stage in performing skills on the balance beam, and through the continuous follow-up of the gymnastics lesson, especially in the effectiveness of back-rolling on the balance beam, it was found that some students could not perform the back-rolling on the balance beam, in addition to the obvious hesitation in performance . As for the research sample, it included (50) female students who were chosen randomly from out of three divisions, then the forms were distributed to the female students, and then statistical operations were carried out. Female students as well as a loss of self-confidence. Therefore, the researcher recommended the necessity of facilitating the work on the device by reducing its height from the ground, especially in the early stages of the lesson, as well as the continuous encouragement of female students.
