Abstract


Abstract in English This study aimed to shed light on the importance of using physiological tests and anthropometrics during the selection process for karate players under 13 years of age, and to highlight the importance of using physiological tests and their contribution to the success of the sports selection process, in addition to knowing the importance of conducting anthropometric measurements and their role in selecting the best players. The study was based on a sample consisting of 25 karate coaches from the Jijel League, and the sample was chosen in an intentional way due to the small size of the study population, and the descriptive method of the survey method was used for its suitability and the nature of the research. The following results:- Coaches' lack of interest in using physiological tests during the selection process.- Lack of coaches' interest in making physical measurements during the selection process.
