Abstract

Handball has developed in recent years through the use of tight programs and preventive exercises that protect the functions of the knee joint, especially in games that require a change of direction or speed in movement and sudden stops, including handball. The research problem came through the researcher's observation of an increase in injuries especially in the lower extremity (knee joint) as a result of the load and the effort on it without paying attention to preventive exercises that have an effective role in improving the functions of the knee joint. And exploratory experiments. Preventive exercises were applied for a period of (8) weeks, at a rate of (3) training units per week, and the researchers reached the following results that showed the importance of using preventive exercises in improving the condition of the knee joint among handball players.
