Abstract
The current study aimed to determine the effect of educational interven-tion for organizational intelligence on the professional and organizational var-iables of sports managers. The research methodology was quasi-experimental with a pre- and post-test design and follow-up with a control group. The cur-rent research population includes all directors and assistant professors at the College of Physical Education and Sports, Mustansiriyah University, who were selected using the available sample of 20 people who were randomly distributed into two experimental (10 people) and control (10 people) groups. Organizational intelligence training was conducted for the managers of the experimental group (in 8 sessions). Data collection instruments include Mar-tin J. Gannon's 20-question Job Satisfaction Questionnaire (2010), Kanungo's 10-question Job Engagement Questionnaire (1982), Davies and Loquist's 36-question Job Adaptation Questionnaire (1984), and 13-question Organiza-tional Citizenship Behavior For hill. (2002) questionnaire, the 24-question Strategic Thinking Questionnaire by Jane Ledecka (2008), the 24-question Knowledge Management Questionnaire by Lawson (2003), and the 36-question Career Self-Efficacy Questionnaire by Riggs and Knight (1994). To analyze the data, multivariate analysis of variance and analysis of variance with repeated measurements were used. In light of the results, statistically significant differences were found between the average scores of the three stages of the pre-test, post-test, and follow-up for the variables of job en-gagement, strategic thinking, and job self-efficacy. Accordingly, organization-al intelligence training had a significant effect on the variables of job engage-ment, strategic thinking, and job self-efficacy, and this effect had significant stability after three months on the aforementioned variables.
