The Reality of Teaching Competencies of Physical Education Teachers from the Specialized Supervisors’ Point of View

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the reality of the teaching competencies of physical education teachers from the viewpoint of the specialized supervisors, and the descriptive approach was adopted by the survey method, on the specialized physical education supervisors in the (20) general directorates of education distributed by nature over (15) Iraqi governorates and they are continuing their functional service The actual academic year (2020/2021), with a total number of (164) supervisors, (74) supervisors were chosen for the research sample with a percentage of (45.122%) of them, and a modern scale tool was adopted that enjoys scientific foundations and transactions, and specialized for the target sample for measurement, and no more than Six months, then the researchers surveyed the opinions of the specialized supervisors representing the sample of the application specified by (74) supervisors, by conducting the main survey study by applying this scale to them using paper forms and direct measurement to them, and according to the official administrative correspondence, as this survey continued in the capital and the governorates specified for the period Extending from (10/11/2020) to (16/3/2021), the results were processed using the (SPSS) system, so that the conclusions and recommendations that physical education teachers need support to improve the level of competencies They are teaching staff at levels commensurate with the nature and privacy of their professional and scientific work.
