Abstract

The study aims to identify the preferential effect between the teaching method with proposed competitive tactical situations and the teaching method with traditional exercises to learn some organized attack plans for handball (paral-lel attacking lunge, double pass) for female students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Anbar. The research used the experimental method on a sample of Female students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Anbar University for the academic year 2022-2023, by designing the control and experimental groups with pre- and post-measurements. The experiment was carried out over a period of three weeks, with one educational unit per week for 90 minutes. The tradi-tional teaching method with exercises was used for the control group, while the teaching method was used. With the experimental group’s competitive tactical situations, pre- and post-tests were conducted using a questionnaire to measure organized attack plans. After collecting the data and processing it statistically, the research concluded that the competitive tactical stances method outperformed the traditional exercises teaching method and was effec-tive in learning some organized handball attack plans for female students in the College of Education.
