Abstract

The current study aimed to determine the effect of training on organizational intelligence skills on job self-efficacy, professional attachment, and strategic thinking among managers of university sports institutions. The research methodology was quasi-experimental with a pre- and post-test design and follow-up with a control group. For this reason, 20 people were selected from among the sports directors at Al-Mustansiriya University. They were randomly divided into an experimental group (10 people) and a control group (10 people). Organizational intelligence training was conducted for the experimental group (in 8 sessions). Data collection instruments included Riggs and Knight's (1994) 36-question Job Self-Efficacy Questionnaire, the 10-question Kanungo Job Engagement Questionnaire (1982), and the Jane Ledecka 24-question Strategic Thinking Questionnaire (2008). To analyze the data, multivariate analysis of variance and analysis of variance with repeated measurements were used. In light of the results, organizational intelligence training had a significant effect on the study variables among a sample of the research experiment, and this effect was permanent 90 days after completing the training interventions mentioned above.
