The effect of the SQ3R strategy on learning the effectiveness of the long jump for students

Abstract

The importance of the research lies in preparing educational units according to the (SQ3R) strategy in learning the effectiveness of the long jump for students, which is considered one of the basic activities in the faculties of physical education and sports sciences. The “SQ3R strategy is considered one of the metacognitive strategies,” and the researcher used the method The experimental group with two control groups And experimental with a pre- and post-test, and the research sample was from first-year students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences/University of Kufa. Through presenting, analyzing and discussing the results, I found that there is an impact of the educational units in accordance with the SQ3R strategy in developing the research variables between the two groups and for the benefit of the members of the experimental group. The researcher recommends the necessity of using the educational units in accordance with the SQ3R strategy in learning other field and field activities for male and female students.
