Abstract

The scientific progress that we observe today in various fields of life is the result of expertise, experiments and research from which many results have been inferred. The game of football is one of the most important sports that receives great care and attention everywhere because it is one of the games that has greatly increased in popularity in the world and basic skills.  It is one of the components of the game of football, in addition to physical fitness, motor qualities, and psychological, educational, mental, and tactical aspects, which work to improve the level of performance. This game requires that the player possess basic skills at a high level in order to be able to use these skills in various match conditions. It was necessary to prepare methods, methods, and training exercises.  Similar to playing with and without the ball, it motivates the player during application and helps in developing skills to perform in conditions similar to what happens in the match. The aim of the research was to identify the effect of exercises similar to playing with and without the ball in developing some physical and motor abilities and basic skills in football. The research sample was Air Force Club players.  The youth category, and the researcher used the experimental method due to its suitability to the nature of the research. The researcher used an individual group design with two pre- and post-tests, that is, measuring one group before and after the experiment. The difference between the two results to measure the variable is evidence of the impact of the experimental factor. The research community was chosen intentionally, represented by the Iraqi youth league clubs for the season.  Athlete (2023-2024), numbering (46) teams, and the percentage of the research sample was (2.28%) of the research population, as the researcher selected the sample intentionally from the Air Force Club (youth category) football players, numbering (22) players, and the experiment was applied.  The reconnaissance survey included (3) players and they were excluded after completing the exploratory experiment. The remainder of them were (19) players. Homogeneity was conducted among them in terms of (height - weight - training age). Pre-tests were conducted for the research sample on the date of 10/2/2023 and on the club’s stadium.  Second Air Force Football. The researcher established the conditions, the method of conducting the tests, and the assistant work team in order to achieve the same conditions as much as possible when conducting the post-tests. The post-tests were conducted for the research sample on the date of 11/16/2023, and the researcher followed the same conditions and procedures for the pre-tests.  The ready-made statistical system (SPSS) was used to complete the statistical processing of the research results.
