The effect of constructivist learning strategy on mental perception and learning some basic futsal skills for students

Abstract

Recently, many and varied efforts have appeared to find modern means of learning motor skills and developing them using technology and situations in performing the skill, which leads to consolidating and deepening the learner’s experiences and also helps to improve reception and understanding of the detailed parts of the movement. The constructivist learning strategy is based on dividing students into groups in lesson, and since the researcher specializes in that game and is interested in the game of futsal, they noticed a weakness in mental perception in learning some basic skills in futsal for students. The current study aims to know the effect of the constructivist learning strategy on mental perception and learning some basic skills in futsal for students. The study hypothesized the existence of a positive effect of the B-learning strategy on mental visualization and learning some basic skills in futsal for students. The researcher used the experimental method with a design of (two equal groups). The same pre-test and post-test, due to its suitability to the nature of the research. The research population was determined by middle school students in Diyala Governorate / Al-Khalis District for the academic year (2018-2019), numbering (40) students. In the first middle grade at Nahr Al-Azim School, and in view of completing the requirements of the experimental design, as the researcher The homogeneity process was not conducted because the research sample was homogeneous in age and height. Practicing students, those who failed, and those who had a medical report were excluded. The research sample was conducted on equal ages. The researcher also conducted an equivalence process in tests of mental perception and some basic skills. We reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which were the following: The constructivist learning strategy contributed effectively to mental visualization and learning some basic skills in futsal for students, and the development of the experimental and control group in the post-tests. The researcher attributes the reason for the development in the use of the strategy and the diversity in the use of exercises.
