Abstract

The 100m running event is one of the events that requires a high level of motor (nervous-muscular) coordination in all its stages in order to perform correct technique that achieves good achievement and includes precise coordination between the movement of the arms and legs, and all of this can only be achieved through the presence of auxiliary exercises that help in Correct performance, especially for a player with a mental disability. Therefore, working on these physical and motor abilities among individuals with a mental disability is more difficult than for healthy players, due to the presence of weakness in their coordination abilities and some physical and motor abilities, and this matter leads to them not achieving the desired goal and bringing the player to achievement. Through the researcher's follow-up of the educational process, they noticed this weakness in physical and motor ability as a result of the small number of educational units that contribute to improving performance and thus is reflected in the achievement of mentally disabled athletes in running the 100 m. The researcher decided to study this phenomenon and find appropriate solutions for it. The research study aimed to identify the effect of educational exercises using auxiliary means to develop some physical and motor abilities and their impact on the achievement of running 100 meters among members of the research sample. The researcher used the one-group experimental approach, and the research sample was determined in a deliberate manner that included players with mental disabilities. The educational exercises were applied, which lasted for a period of (8) weeks with (2) educational units using assistive tools, and after obtaining the raw results, they were processed. Statistically. The researcher concluded that the educational exercises proposed by the researcher led to the development of physical and motor abilities among the members of the research sample and proved its efficiency and importance. Likewise, correct learning must be in accordance with the ability, mental level, and mental capabilities for the purpose of their adaptation to the exercises and the development of achievement among the members of the research sample.
