Legalizing the scoring test from jumping outside the arc after performing a physical effort for first-class basketball players

Abstract

The study aimed to standardize the test of shooting from outside the arc after performing a physical effort for first-class basketball players, as the researcher used the descriptive approach to suit the nature of the research, and the research community included first-class players participating in the 2024 Iraqi Championship finals, who numbered (92) players, as they were The number of clubs on which research tests were conducted (8) clubs represented (Al-Nasiriyah - Al-Samawa - Darbandikhan - Police Vehicles - Nineveh Workers - Al-Jamahir - Maysan Oil - Sabis), where the number of players in the exploratory experiment reached (12) players and the number of legalization players reached (80) players, and after conducting the test by the researcher on the sample He reached to find standard grades and levels, which are appropriate to the capabilities of the players, The researcher recommends the need to use the offensive test similar to the playing conditions that he conducted to determine the performance of the players by coaches and specialists, and to help them in developing performance, as well as the need to adopt the grades and standard levels that the researcher arrived at as one of the means of objective evaluation of basketball players.
