Abstract

Many studies have shown interest in research that deals with thinking and its levels, which in turn depends on a person’s feeling that there is a problem. As for the research problem that the two researchers sought to (treat by measuring the level of creative thinking for female students) lies in the weakness in the skill performance of some in performing the peaceful shot and the lack of tactical effectiveness, the goal of the research lies in  In identifying the relationship between creative thinking and the performance of the straight shot by changing direction for female students in the third stage, the descriptive approach was used in the style of (mutual relations). The research sample was 30 female students in the third stage in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls for the academic year (2023-2024).  A student was chosen intentionally and the creative thinking scale was used by the researcher (Huda Adel Suleiman Muhammad Al-Anzi 2020). The skill test was conducted on the straight shot by changing direction. The two researchers used the statistical bag, and the result of the research confirmed the existence of a significant correlation between creative thinking and the performance of the straight shot by changing direction.  The researchers recommended the necessity of using the creative thinking scale as a tool to measure skill performance in other skills in basketball, as well as using it in other games.
