A study of some personality traits and their relationship to the performance level of Diyala Governorate clubs in football

Abstract

Football is a sport that gained its popularity through the simplicity and ease of its practice after its creation more than half a century ago. The results of many matches in the Diyala Governorate Clubs League and variations in the players’ performance. Through the practical practice of the researcher as a result of their participation in the follow-up of the football effectiveness, he noticed that there are many different characteristics of the footballer’s personality, and this naturally led to the discrepancy in the level of their performance during the different matches. The researcher adopted the descriptive approach using the survey method, due to its relevance to the nature of the researchThe researcher concluded the following:- The results showed that the largest percentage of performance was at a good level and amounted to 60%, and the results showed that the number of players is at an acceptable level with a percentage of 40%, and the results did not show any percentage in the level of performance and at both levels it is weak and very good.
