The effect of skill exercises using the Murder strategy on learning the skills of scoring and suppression in football for students

Abstract

The rapid development in the field of science and education in all scientific and human specializations and the introduction of methods, strategies and models in teaching methods has led the teacher and teacher to search for new strategies and methods in order to deliver information to the learner. The objectives of the research are: preparing skill exercises using the Murder strategy in learning the scoring skills. The research sample consisted of second-grade intermediate students in Al-Wadud Boys’ Intermediate School, Al-Muqdadiyah Education Department / General Directorate of Diyala Education for the academic year (2022 - 2023), who numbered (70) students in each section (35) students, and a lottery was drawn between the two second-grade sections. Choosing Section (B) to represent the experimental group (35) students and Section (A) to represent the control group. There are many ways to present the lesson and use methods and strategies in which the learner is involved in the lesson and search for information while providing good conditions for students to learn. This is the Merer strategy that provides the learner with conditions Suitable in terms of temperament, psychological factor, understanding mental requirements, gradation from easy to difficult, taking into account individual differences, absorbing information, starting with educational units, and applying skill exercises on Tuesday, 10/25/2022, until Thursday, 12/29/2022, for a period of (10) weeks, with two educational units in The week has a total of (20) educational units. The results of the research showed that the experimental group preferred skill exercises using the Murder strategy. The researchers recommend preparing skill exercises using the Murder strategy in other skills related to other sports, such as basketball, volleyball, and handball, while applying them to samples of different ages and gender
