The effect of educational units according to the (JIGSAW) strategy in learning the gazelle jump in rhythmic gymnastics for female students

Abstract

The study aimed to prepare educational units according to the (JIGSAW) strategy in learning the gazelle jump in rhythmic gymnastics for female students and to identify its effect for female students in the first intermediate year. The researchers assumed that there is an effect of the educational units according to the (JIGSAW) strategy in learning the skill of the gazelle jump for female students, and there are statistically significant differences. For the benefit of the experimental group, the two researchers used the experimental approach in the manner of two equal groups. The two researchers defined the research sample as female students of the first stage in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for the academic year 2023-2024, who numbered (20) students, and they were divided into an experimental group and a control group represented by (10) female students for each. Group, the study concluded that the use of the (JIGSAW) strategy had a direct impact on students’ learning of the skill of the gazelle jump, and it came out with a number of recommendations, including the necessity of using this strategy in teaching the skill of the gazelle jump and moving away from the traditional methods followed.
